Manchester Caribbean Carnival 2025 Is Coming

 
Manchester Caribbean Carnival 2025 is coming!

The vibrant and much-anticipated Manchester Caribbean Carnival is set to return on August 9th and 10th, from 12pm to 8pm each day. After the resounding success of last year's event, which attracted over 58,000 attendees, this year's carnival promises to be even bigger and better. The two-day free event will be a family friendly celebration of community, heritage, and music taking place in the heart of the community at Alexandra Park, Manchester, 180 Russell Street, Manchester M16 7JL. Join us for J’ouvert and Parade Saturday 9th August 2025.

The King and Queen Show

The King and Queen show  - showcasing Kings queens Prince and princesses from our participating troupes, from Manchester, Yorkshire and the East midlands.

Taking place live on Saturday 26th July 2025 – Contact Theatre, Oxford Road, M15 6JA

Registration is now closed for Carnival 2025. This is the year! It’s Carnival 2025!!! We will be celebrating 53 years of the Manchester Carnival and want EVERYONE to be involved in a fantastic weekend. Thank you to everyone who registered to take part in this year’s parade – it’s looking like the best one yet!!!

Jou’vert Morning

Our Carnival give you the opportunity to experience the best of Caribbean Culture and heritage with a packed programme for all ages built on thrilling LIVE stages and MEGA sounds systems mixing local artists and surprise superstar show stoppers.

Mas Bands

You can always expect to see visiting troupes at the carnival, and 2024 is no exception with 14 troupes taking part in the parade.

Traders

Carnival attracts a wide range of traders offering fantastical foods – Trinidadian ‘Roti’, and Guyanese ‘Pepper Pot’ are a must try – and spellbinding craft items and cultural dressings from all the islands.
